We’ve launched some exciting improvements to reed.co.uk, designed to make finding your next role even easier. Here’s what we’ve been doing and why it’s good for you:
(1) CV Searching – Boost your prospects
From today, we’ll be increasing the number of recruiters able to search CVs registered on reed.co.uk. As well as being matched to new vacancies by Reed's network of recruitment consultants, CVs will also be available to a range of direct employers and agencies.
Of course, no jobseeker will be automatically opted into this service, as opt-in is based on individual contact preferences. If you’re registered with reed.co.uk, you can check to see if your CV is searchable by signing in and checking your contact preferences.
And if you want to maximise the chances of recruiters downloading your CV and contacting you about their latest vacancies, make sure you’ve completed the Talent Profile section of your registration. Your public profile gives you the opportunity to showcase your experiences, describe your preferences and display your own personal statement. Why not check your details now?

(2) Job search results – Detailed and express view
We’re now displaying a brief summary of each job description on search results pages to help you focus on the right opportunities. If you’d prefer to keep your results brief, you can still hide summaries via the ‘Show express view’ link.
(3) Featured jobs – focus on the latest urgent vacancies
New, urgent vacancies will be highlighted with a star as 'Featured Jobs' and will also be displayed in their own ‘Featured Jobs’ panel on the right hand side of search results pages.
